About Available Light on Demand

The Curated Home for Northern Films

Available Light On Demand (ALD) is the curated home of outstanding and award-winning works by Northern Filmmakers. The Yukon Film Society and Klondike Institute of Art and Culture launched this new digital streaming service and website to bring Northern Films to Canadians and the world. Short films are available to watch for free, with rental and purchase options available for longer films.

Payments for online viewing and/or downloads of Available Light On Demand titles go to filmmakers and the Yukon Film Society in a revenue-sharing scheme that not only benefits independent filmmakers, but our organization as well. We hope you enjoy and thank you for your support!
